Its Pride month and London is celebrating! Here’s our run down on the best places to go in East London this weekend, if you’re looking to join the fun!
Forest Gayte Pride 30 June – 1 July
Now in its second year, Forest Gayte Pride offers an afternoon of live music, face painting for kids, speeches on the street, food and more, before the party heads into the Forest Tavern where, drag acts, live music and DJs play into the small hours.
Lunges in Leggings 30 June 2018
This outdoor bootcamp takes place in Haggerston Park and combines cardio, strength, flexibility and lots of fun to an epic soundtrack!
Pride Picnic 1st July
Head to Victoria Park to picnic with friends and enjoy live music from London Gay Symphonic Winds, the WTW Band and Mark Anthony, all organised by Tower Hamlets LGBT Forum.
Mariah & Friendz: Rainbow Pride 7th July
With punk drag, circus kweens, fire-breathing vixens, Rainbow pride is reputedly ‘the best damn drag-circus-burlesque show in town’ (Time Out). Once the show is over they’ll be pumping out party tunes all night, so get down and get swervy.
