We are pleased to announce that 'Betty Magazine will be hosting 'The Girls Club' on the 25th & 26th of March at Hackney Walk. They will be taking over one of the arches and will be hosting networking events, workshops and talks.
Saturday 25th March - Xanthe Berkeley Stop Motion Workshop

Ever wanted to make your own stop motion films with just your phone!? Be it for your business or just for fun, the queen of stop motion and photographer Xanthe Berkeley is going to show you exactly how it’s done. Xanthe has created super inspiring films for Boden, Etsy UK, Cath Kidston, The White Company and Alpen amongst others. She also runs a film-making course, encouraging people to document their lives with weekly video experiments.
Thanks to the lovely people at Etsy we will have lots of exciting products from their independent sellers for you to experiment and create with. You will need to bring your phone with the app Stop Motion Studio (available on iPhone & Android) and your head phones. Backdrops and tripods will be provided, alongside a sweet treat and goodie bag to take home!

From online publishing, to manufacturing and promoting. Here we have three speakers who know the ins and outs of the fashion industry from all angles. Liv is the founder of the award winning ‘What Olivia Did’ blog, featuring top fashion and lifestyle content that has us clicking on her site daily. Rosie is co-founder and Managing Director of the internationally renowned brand Tatty Devine, who have seen nearly two decades of success with their highly coveted and collectible jewellery. And Stephen is currently Senior Account Manager at HPR, working with brands on their PR strategies, gaining them press coverage in some of the biggest UK and International publications.

Sunday 26th March - Floral Mother's Day Workshop

Looking for a special way to treat your mum on Mother's Day? Are you worried the usual shop bought blooms might not be enough to show mum how much you care? Why not spend the morning with your Mum creating gifts for each other. Our favourite florist, Harriet Parry, will teach you how to make hand tied bouquets with Postabloom flowers. And the team behind original hand crafted gifts Oh Squirrel, will teach you both to make pressed floral keepsakes. Tickets are £65 for two people, and include a floral bouquet each and your pressed flower designs, a glass of fizz, a sweet treat and goodie bag.
